Digital Spirit Level
Measure pitch, tilt, and slope instantly with our free online spirit level tool. Calibrate relative zero or check absolute level in real time.
Accelerometer stream is active in the main viewfinder. Align device to calibrator.
Spirit Level Mode: Evaluates physical tilt using your device accelerometer. Lay the phone flat or vertical and tap Calibrate to establish custom horizon zero-points. Shows active offsets and leveling indicators.
Free Online Spirit Level & Bubble Level Tool
Whether you are hanging a picture frame straight, checking a table alignment, or aligning construction beams on site, having an accurate spirit level is essential. Instead of rummaging through your toolbox for an analog level, our free online spirit level turns your smartphone or mobile device into a contractor-grade bubble level.
How the Digital Spirit Level Works
Modern mobile devices are equipped with highly precise internal sensors called accelerometers. These sensors measure gravity acceleration forces along different axes. Arovat accesses these tilt streams in real time, converting raw angular data into an animated liquid bubble. The visual bubble moves left or right depending on which way your phone is tilted, showing your offset down to 0.1 degrees.
Relative Calibration Functionality
In many real-world scenarios, your baseline surface is not perfectly level, but you still need your work to run parallel to it. Our digital spirit level includes a Calibrate function. Simply place your phone on your reference surface, tap Calibrate, and Arovat will treat that exact tilt angle as relative zero (0.0°). Every subsequent tilt reading will display the offset relative to that custom plane. Tap Reset to restore absolute sensor measurements at any time.
Smartphone Handoff QR Code
Since desktop computers and laptops lack internal gravity sensors, they cannot execute level measurements natively. If you open our level tool online page on a desktop device, Arovat automatically generates a dynamic QR code. Simply scan this code with your phone or tablet's camera to instantly open the active level tool session, allowing you to use your phone's sensors immediately.
